Christmas Lunch at the 3 Hammers Golf Club.

It was well attended, food was excellent and the service was efficient.

A good time was had by all, many crackers were pulled !!

April 2025

Annual skittles event held at The Squirrel in Alveley.

It was well attended, the players were enthusiastic and energetic but concentration levels only lasted a few minutes.

The cold buffet was excellent and well received, of course play was delayed while they all tucked in.

Drinks eventually took their toll and play rapidly declined into chaos.

Everyone enjoyed the evening with plenty of humour and the worthy winners went away with Easter eggs and cookies to supplement their strict diets.

2027

Next year the Club will be celebrating 80 years since it's formation, there will be lots of activities planned for the year

and you are welcome to join us, details will be announced in due course.

The club was originally called the Wolverhampton CHA Rambling Club and their first walk was around the grounds of Sutton Park back in 1947.

On Sunday 11th May 1997, a commemorative walk celebrating the 50th anniversary was led by the founder member Walter Maughan, there were 35 members who assembled at the Park House in Sutton Park and followed the original 5 mile walk

which ended with a well deserved traditional tea and cake !!
